The EMI Team recently completed the CNFL Smart Street Light Technical Assistance Project in Costa Rica. The project is slated for execution beginning in 2019 and follows the Jamaica JPS Smart Street Light Technical Assistance, which is nearing full deployment. Both projects are over 100,000 street lights and will include intelligent controls that can be used for smart grid and smart city services such as smart metering, intelligent traffic control, public WiFi, smart parking, and crime control.
